‘Trade winds’ is a charming fisherman’s’ cottage situated in Customs Court, just off the harbour. This area of Brixham was well known for its smugglers hatches and secret routes passing right under the nose of the old Customs Cottages housing the Customs Officers dating back some 300 years!
The cottage is brimming with charm and character including historic sea charts, exposed stone walls and old beams. Trade winds is a very light and bright cottage built over four levels with two double bedrooms, both enjoying superb harbour and sea views.
Trade winds location is excellent; a real crow’s nest perched over Brixham offering an intimate view of the water’s edge, which is literally 50 metres walk away.
" Julie-Ann, Mark, Mary and Asha – Wow… The cottage is amazing, everything is included a proper home from home. Beds and linen are great, so comfy. We will be back.

park outside Rockfish restuarant which is on the left hand side of the harbour. Please do not use a sat nav to get to the cottage as this will send you the wrong way.

the left hand side of the gate. I will
send you the code by message.
To off load your bags you may wish to go slightly further up Overgang to the end of the wall that encloses Overgang steps. There is a slight dip in the curb where you can park whilst offloading.
