Trade winds cottage

The cottage faces Mitch Tonks famous flagship restaurant Rockfish which is one minutes walk away.  The ferry to Dartmouth, Paignton and Torquay is from the jetty next to Rockfish so an easy way to explore the bay.

‘Trade winds’ is a charming fisherman’s’ cottage situated in Customs Court, just off the harbour. This area of Brixham was well known for its smugglers hatches and secret routes passing right under the nose of the old Customs Cottages housing the Customs Officers dating back some 300 years!

The cottage is brimming with charm and character including historic sea charts, exposed stone walls and old beams. Trade winds is a very light and bright cottage built over four levels with two double bedrooms, both enjoying superb harbour and sea views.

Trade winds location is excellent; a real crow’s nest perched over Brixham offering an intimate view of the water’s edge, which is literally 50 metres walk away.
